Ajameti Managed Reserve protects woodland on the Rioni lowland in the Baghdati and Zestaponi areas. Its defining trees are relict Imeretian oak and Caucasian zelkova. APA records oaks older than 250 years, making the surviving groves the main subject of a visit rather than a single constructed monument.

APA’s overview reports undeveloped visitor infrastructure. Ask the reserve administration in Vartsikhe about current access.
