Shatili’s closely grouped towers and fortress-houses form a defensive mountain settlement in Khevsureti. Internal passages and stairs once allowed residents to move between buildings while the complex guarded routes from the north. Its stone construction follows the terraced terrain above the Arghuni valley. The mountain approach and safe entry to individual structures need current local advice.
