Dartlo gathers Tushetian towers, fortress-houses and places of worship into a compact mountain settlement. A historic courthouse with twelve stone seats for jurors offers a distinctive glimpse of local communal government. Petroglyphs on towers and tombs add another layer to its heritage. Access into Tusheti and the condition of individual buildings need current confirmation.
